I already use an anti-spam filter. Why do I need another
one?
Spam filters have been around for 5 years and simply do not work. According
to the February 2003 issue of PC Magazine, current filters work only 60%
of the time and their Editor's Choice product incorrectly blocked nearly
5% of legitimate messages. According to Nucleus research, in corporate
setting spam filters are only 26% effective. In fact, some ISPs have resorted
to suing spammers as its primary strategy. Disposable email addresses
(DEAs) are a radical departure that gives users 100% control with 0% errors.

How can I guarantee
my personal information will not be sold or stolen?
My Privacy Policy operates on a "need to know" basis, and no
personal information is needed or collected. As such, no personal information
can be sold or traded, or even stolen or hacked.

What if I do
not take advantage of controlling their relationships?
If a person leaves money out in the open, it will be stolen. If a person
does not protect his or her email address or identity, it too will be
stolen. Stolen money can only be spent once, but email addresses can be
used forever. Research shows "80% say that they find spamming very
annoying, a vast increase from the 49% who felt the same way two and a
half years ago" (Harris Poll - January 2003). When you are ready
for a comprehensive solution for your privacy needs, you will have a solution
that protects your right to be left alone.

I want to keep
my current email address. Can I still use My Privacy Policy?
Yes. Our spam filter works as well as most traditional spam filters. In
addition, My Privacy Policy gives you 100% control over all new relationships.
We recommend that you re-register with third parties using MPP so that
they receive a DEA.

Where is My Privacy
Policy hosted?
MPP is hosted at a high-security facility in Dallas, Texas. Enterprise
clients may choose to do their own hosting.

How do you position against other DEA products?
The February 2003 issue of PC Magazine found current DEA products to be
complicated and require a high degree of end user understanding and maintenance
to work properly. In addition, other products have glaring design flaws.
For example, if an end user replies to a message, their real email address
is revealed.

It sounds like
a lot of time-consuming work, constant maintenance of which email addresses
are sent to which online merchants. Is this not complex?
No. My Privacy Policy works seamlessly with all browsers and email clients.
It runs as a "background" program much like anti-virus and firewall
software products. You can, with one click, accept the recommended default
rules. From that moment on, you do not need to manage the DEAs or DIDs
for that relationship. My Privacy Policy keeps track of current and potential
threats and violations of these rules. You may choose to view and change
the rules, but they are always enforced regardless of your level of understanding
or involvement.

Why is this important
to me?
Spam costs U.S. businesses an average of $10 billion annually (CNN, May
2003) and over 3,900 junk emails per day are expected to appear in an
average user's inbox by 2007 (Jupiter Research, January 2003). Without
My Privacy Policy, the amount of annoying emails and network traffic will
cause great inefficiencies in your daily life or for your company. With
My Privacy Policy, you take back control and the right to be left alone.
